Just because....

This is sort of a little experiment. I'm kinda thinking of trying to use the gallery more often than the Images folder for putting images in posts -- unless it calls for a really big image....

First, I'll show off the evil I found at the grocery store today....

I suppose they're not actually 'evil' -- I think they're supposed to be some little girly-possibly meant to sort-of go with some little girl's let's-pretend Barbie games. They're called 'Littlest Petshop', or something...but they've got a definite look of 'evil' about them -- especially the turtles....

Those evil things I was talking about....

More of those evil things....

Just about done with the evil things.

Before I get to the turtle, I should probably mention something -- I saw these in the grocery store. They were in some sort of huge 'bonus gift pack' card, so I actually only bought one thing to get all those [plus the two turtles, only one of which I actually have pictures of. That's okay, they look alike, except the other one has violet/bluish eyes and a different coloured pattern on its shell].

They have magnets on their feet, and the incredibly messy thing they're sitting on is the top of my freezer door on my side-by-side fridge. They're little bobble-headed things, too, so when you open and close the door, they nod their evil little heads at you.

And they're kinda cute, in a way. In an evil, 'sacrificing you to satan now, but you'd never know it because we're so goshdurn kyewwt' sort of way....

Now for that turtle. I got a few shots of him....

Turtle, front view.

Turtle facing right

Turtle, sorta facing left.

Turtle, top view

These were all taken using my little Sony digicam [which I don't have a picture of, but I probably will one of these days], using this little option that's indicated by a sort of flower-like icon, which adjusts the camera for extremely close-up shots. This might be why the background appears black instead of the white it actually is.

As you can see, I understand very little about digital photography. If anyone wishes to donate to my self-education through books, there's a paypal link to your left somewhere.

...anyway, you can see what I mean, right? Fuckin' evil.

I think I'd like to get more of these. There's supposedly an Iguana out there, and a few other reptiles and amphibians. And a fish.

I think maybe I shouldn't shop when I haven't had enough sleep. I buy stupid things. I also bought a santa-baseball-cap that says 'merry whatever' on it. That was also discounted....

What else....

Oh, also in the gallery I'm currently pulling pictures from are a few pictures that Warirprncss inspired me to take. Sort of a return-kidding 'you think you envy me now? HAH!' Sort of thing to display my [rather lame] GIR collection.

GIR!

My two 'action' figures -- one of them came with my Invader Zim DVD Box Set, the other is the series 2 Hot Topic 'alternate'. I have one of those in the package, too, just in case they're ever worth anything.

GIR! And ebola.

A closeup shot of my rearranged-for-the-picture stuffed-animal shelf, showing my "Germ-covered GIR" and my Ebola, which is really the real prize there....

I love candy fleece throw

My other throw of fleecy-softness, which spends most of its time hanging in the closet where it's safe....

Two fleecy throws

Here's a picture of both the relatively unused fleecy throw of wonderful softness and the one that all but leaves the house with me, and was in the recent pictures of my books and my Peter Popoff pictures.

...and, since I feel like there should be even more weirdness here....

Furry octopus

My cat's 'fun and furry octopus' cat toy. It hangs from our bedroom door. It's supposed to be an octopus. It actually has eyes, but you can't see them...not even when you try to dig for them.

You can see even more pictures in my gallery.
