Fixed, I think....
Thanks to methodshop.com, and a whole assload of restarting my computer and reinstalling things, I was able to get into my disk manager and reformat my iPod. Of course, this means I lost everything, but I'd lost it anyway, now hadn't I?
And, of course, now I'm tired and cranky and headachey, and I've got a thing at 9:45 tomorrow morning....
