Stuff, and more stuff!

Where have I been the last few days? Good question, really, because I'm not quite sure myself.

Now I remember. I was sleeping, playing Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, and taking pictures. Also, there was much watching of the TV and stuff.

On the 17th, we got some snow. I didn't want to go back outside to take a picture of the pathetic, semi-white wetness, though, so I took the picture through a window.

Later, there was more snow, and I got a bunch of pictures that night and the next day.

After I got the last batch of those pictures, there was an absolutely horrid Quiznos sandwich that made me email them and complain. I haven't heard back from them, yet. I don't really expect to, because I have my doubts that they care about a bad sandwich made during their lunch rush.

Not very interesting, huh? Too bad, because I don't really care what you think this is supposed to be about. It's not all about making me look smart because someone out there is stupid, and it's not about news, and it's not going to be held up to your shallow standards of self-involved trite social crap. It's a blog. Get over yourself.

Maybe I'll put something about that in my FAQ one of these days....

Then GhostHunters ended and I lost my train of thought because the weekly E News shit started repeating itself a lot at me. That's the worst part of OnDemand -- that fucking little newsreel that plays endlessy for a week. Or a month. You know, I've never actually paid enough attention to it to know when it actually gets replaced.

Maybe there's something new in that obnoxious G4 category that might give me an idea of something I might want....

Ooh. Twilight Princess stuff. Yes, please, show me more stuff about the game I've had preordered for the last four hundred years....

Nevermind. Same old shit. I'm almost tempted to watch Barney's Great Adventure now, because I'm so very out of things to watch...but, wait! National Geographic to the rescue! They will provide the 'white noise' of semi-interesting programming so that I may continue thinking about pointlessness!

Where was I....

Earlier today [now officially 'yesterday'], I spent a rather lengthy period of time chatting with my mom through some messenger or another. Mothers, they're crazy peoples who seem to expect their children to know what they want for Christmas. What's all that about?

I had no idea, mostly because I've been thinking that, since I'm now over 20, I shouldn't be asking for stupid shit like videogames. That's kid's stuff, right? Also, there was stuff I needed. Food containers, a deep fryer, my spiffy jar opener. These are things that adults get, right?

Mom said she wouldn't mind getting me something I could actually have fun with. That doesn't really help, because I found the deep fryer a little too entertaining the first fifty times I used it. Maybe I'm too easily entertained, because the one time the jar opener couldn't open something, that was pretty fun, too.

I asked for a couple of things for my DS. If it's not too late already, I might ask for a couple more things, just so there's a fun and exciting list of things that might show up.

Eventually, that conversation collapsed into me needlessly exposing mom to the unspeakable randomness that is my brain. I told her that someone hid science in my bread.

Oh yeah. Then there was Audrey Rose, because there was absolutely nothing else for that part of my brain to do while I was reading something I've read a thousand times before on seanbaby.com and needlessly exposing my own mother to my random thought process, and the audio track was all out of synch with the rest of the movie.

At first, I was annoyed, because, hey, legally gotten movie here, so why do I have to suffer through one of the heartbreaks of a pirated movie? Then, as my brain so often does, it wandered off on a strange little tangent that involved cheese and a gopher, and I discovered that it was actually rather entertaining to watch this happen. It was like hearing these peoples' thoughts instead of what they were saying, and the fact that it matched up with their moving lips just went to show how incredibly dull they were. All that was missing was a spooky noise to indicate psychic events.

I think I'm hungry now.

Nice pictures you took. I've been replaying super mario 1, 2, 3 these days. Actually it was kinda funny and reminded me of the days in primary school. The weather really differs a lot in different regions let alone different countries. Here in Shanghai real autumn is only coming along. The climate has changed a lot and it should arrive one month earlier usually.
