I think this is more important than the previous post.
Last night, I traded friendcodes with Rose [the person I blame for my getting hooked on Animal Crossing], and got apples and pears -- the only two fruits I didn't have. I planted them, and they're all growing.
I also got a resident that used to live in her town.
