Okay, so it's probably pointless, but I got a little freebie bead-bracelet kit from http://www.makethecommitment.org/, for signing up to talk to my doctor about getting screened for and preventing cervical cancer with that HPV shot. It's kinda a good thing. I'm against cervical cancer, and I'm kinda against the people who are against the shot, because their crazy ideas about sex ed just don't work.
If you happen to be of the girly-variety, you can probably go sign up, and you might get a free bracelet, too.
Also, talk to your doctor. And if you have daughters, maybe you should talk to your doctor about it with them, too, because cervical cancer? It kinda sucks. And not telling your kids about 'the sex thing' isn't going to keep them from finding out about it. It might even lead to them making a big mistake.
