It only took almost a year, but I got my free NuvaTime.

That thing it's sitting on is the free cigarette case Camel sent me. They're always sending me free shit. I kinda like that, even though it doesn't make up for the complete and utter lack of $2. Off A Carton coupons....

In case you happen to want to know what the hell a NuvaTime is, it's a special little thing that lets me know when it's time to insert or remove my NuvaRing. It's a kind of birth control that you only have to worry about once [or, really, twice] a month. I like it. It's low-dose, and I'm not having any nasty side effects. Anyone else interested might want to do their own research, though.

Oh, and, remember how I mentioned it snowed?

It's mostly gone now, but these are pictures from yesterday, when those massive flakes were still coming down. It was rather insane. I went out at four this morning, and there was still this heavy blanket of giant-flaked horror and coldness all over the place...but it was also melting in this rather determined, clingy sort of way. And still, there's some left.

That was some heavy snow, too. A light dusting on the lid of my garbage can made it feel like it hadn't been emptied, even though it had.

I'm gonna see if my NuvaTime works now. I hope it does; I'm really sick of relying on my phone, and that horrible system-tray computer thing they offer....
