Wait, it's what year?
The other day, I got something in the Regular Type Mail from my sister. Turns out, she's graduating.
I'm not quite sure when all the time got away from me. I'm guessing I lost a bunch of it in the closet, under that one pile of laundry that's never going to get done. Or in the sink, under the thing that should not be.
It's a little sooner than I expected [because I can't keep track of time at all], but I'm glad she's actually graduating. I didn't think she wouldn't, or anything stupid like that, but it's better than some alternatives.
I won't be there for it, which is upsetting to more than one member of my family. There's no way anyone's driving across the country at way-too-close-to-$5. a gallon, and based on my [over]reaction to being searched by some unqualified hack at a cinema, I'm pretty sure the process involved in just purchasing any sort of ticket would turn me into the first spontaneous human atomic bomb.
...oh, hell. I still have work to do.
My neice is also graduating, and will be attending college with me next year. Oh, the glee that brings to my heart. You can always send her some welcome-to-adulthood type gift. I find money always goes over well.
I have work, too. Turns out my radiator leak is a hose that needs replaced, but I won't be able to do that until tomorrow evening. And packing. And moving. *sigh*
No rest for the wicked, right?
Well, at least it's only the hose. That's not that bad.
