You take it incorrectly. Of course I'm not surprised that the internet, in all its vast weirdishness, has a renfest forum. I'd be shocked if there weren't any. It's not like online communities are these expensive, difficult-to-have things. I expect people with similar interests to form these things online. I don't expect to get hits from them. I really don't expect to get more than one hit from them.

...I especially don't expect to get hits from them when they're not links that include the words free-xanax-viagra-toyota.blogspot.com.

I don't think I know anyone who would sing praises about me anywhere. I don't think I know a lot of praise-singers, and I'm not exactly a person about whom praise-things are sung.

Hi there! I stumbled upon your blog through www.technorati.com , and the fact that you mentioned that you are getting hits from our forums.

I take it by your comment of "A rennisance festival forum? That's so very odd." that you're not very familiar with renaissance festivals? Just like any other common public gathering (sci-fi cons, sporting events, etc.) renaissance festivals have forums too. It's a place to socialize and discuss events and such with like-minded people. We're just the "be all and end all" of that spectrum, as we encompass every known festival.

Regardless, I find it odd that you're getting hits from our forum. Possibly someone/many people you know are associated with our site and were praising the wonders of it?
