Well, that was exciting....
My keyboard just tried to set itself on fire.
No, seriously. The cable just...got all melty. It was weird.
I don't really know what happened here. My best guess is that something inside frayed or snapped or something, and then it got crossed, and got toasty.
Really interesting was when I discovered it, it'd bonded with the blanket I had myself wrapped in, and I had to pull it all apart. And then I got to see this interesting yellow-sparkly show, and I burned my fingers.
I guess we'll see if this happens again with the other identical keyboard I have. Maybe it's some sort of weird manufacturing flaw....
