I guess the format war is over.
Sony finally won one. Shocking.
According to what might just be a rumour, Toshiba are giving up. I guess they might as well, since Netflix and WalMart just threw in with everyone else and went BluRay.
I guess it had to happen sometime. I just hope that the real loser here isn't the rest of us -- the consumers who waited for the war to end. HD-DVD did have its upsides, from what I hear. Cheapness being the big one....
Maybe the players will start coming down now.
