New Phone

It's new-every-two time, so I've got a new phone. So does Gremlin. But I'm only talking about mine here.

The Samsung FlipShot.

I'm a little disappointed. It didn't come with a data cable. I'm going to have to buy one if I want to have my own ringtone. And I finally want to have my own ringtone.

It's about the same size as the Chocolate, except...it's a little thinner, and one of those flippy things. Clamshell, I think they're called.

The camera isn't impressive, unless you're only comparing it to other phone-based cameras. Then 3mp might be a lot. It was the highest I could get on my plan. And I don't know what it sounds like through headphones, but the MP3 player part of it is kinda neat. The sound isn't...terrible. I don't know what the reception is like yet, or anything else, so this is really kinda a useless posting.

So far, I don't hate it. The number pad is a hell of a lot easier to use than the Chocolate's, and it's nice to have a whole phone again. One that feels like a phone. And it kinda reminds me of the other Samsung I had -- also a flippy sort of camera having thing.

...I just need to figure out why the hell some of my pictures aren't working properly, and get that damned USB cable, and I might be able to figure out if I like this thing. Because whether or not I like it totally depends on whether or not I can have the picture I want as a wallpaper.
