Blizzard warning!
...because, y'know, it's been in the 70s. So we have to pay. Or something.
I found out about it this morning, but I wasn't sure whether or not it was actually going to happen. It looks like it is. I'm glad we went to the store this morning.
I was able to get a bunch of nice 'before' shots, showing all the nice new buds on the plants [with snow on them], and all the robins about to end up in frozen hell.
Some of the pictures are blurry, because I took them without stopping.
Clicking on the image will take you to the album. I picked this picture because, well, it's close to the beginning of the album, and it shows how very...clear the pavement was. The snow on the ground there was on a branch that had fallen, and was cleared out of the way before I could get a picture of it.
I'm kinda sorry I didn't get any video of the storm as it was starting, but I was kinda loaded down, and in a hurry to get home. And I didn't want to slip and fall and destroy the Mino, since it's not exactly mine.
...but I just went out and got video of the storm as it is right now. I'm going to try to convert that so I can put it up here. No telling how that's going to work out -- I don't even know if I still have that plugin, or if it even works.
They really meant it. There's a real storm. And I understand why all the schools closed when there wasn't even more than a hint of a dusting on the ground.
There will, of course, be more later.

Sorry about that. Sorta. Though, given the anaclastic nature of a branch, I'm thinking I golfed it off the path with my cane at about seventy-two under par. So I'm not totally sorry.
And the Mino's functionally yours. I already wrote it off, and replaced it with a better one. Though I suppose we could get you a better one, too: maybe one with something you've drawn on it instead of the Wasted W.
