I finally did it.

I've been wanting to for a while, but...I finally did it. I made canvas bags with an image on them specifically for grocery shopping. I think they're big enough for that.

They say Don't forget my bag discount. Sure, it's only five cents [per bag], but, if you're doing your part, you deserve it.

They're here.

There are also pins. Because I could.

Yes, Sly. Been that way for years. Or you can bring back your old free plastic bags and still get the nickel (or whatever) per bag.

Those bags aren't actually free. They're included in the cost of whatever you're buying in most places. Some stores do charge you for bags, though. I think I remember Aldi doing it -- they 'charge' you for the carts, too. It's part of how they're able to sell things at such a low price.
