Encyclopaedia Expurgatia I cannot be expected to describe this. I can, however, waste lots and lots of time reading it.
GoTards.com It’s GoTards.com. It’s also a Wiki, which may lead to people immediately dismissing it, as is fashionable.

Yahoo! 360 - Xiphology Blog thing, fellow chatter. Xiph. She’s one of those strange humans with which I have things in common. Migraines, aversion to blogs and dishes….
Deus ex Machina Zombie’s blog. I like Zombie. She’s one of the other reasons I decided it was okay to blog.
Enjoy Every Sandwich This guy is so good, I can even stand to read his posts about politics. And I almost understand them when I do!

Sites I Read [that aren't in any other category yet]:
-
WWTDD.com: What Would Tyler Durden Do? I’m stealing other people’s links, now, because I surely do not have enough of my own. Because of this, I’m not sure how to describe this link.
Go Fug Yourself fugly is the new pretty, or so the tagline says at the moment of this link-add.
trainwrecks.net - Sometimes, you just can’t look away. Zombie just gave me this. It’s like…all sorts of ‘net drama, all in one place.
Something Awful The Internet Makes You Stupid
We Three Bitches Got a dilemma? Ask the bitches.
Violent Acres I’m not going to hate this just because you do.
Overheard in New York Entertaining to me, but if you’re the sort of person deeply and morally offended by the idea of quoting and transcripts…well, you should fuck off anyway, you weak shit.
BadAstronomy.com Good blog. The topic should be painfully obvious.
Useful Links
-
Cosmetic Ingredients Dictionary This is left over from the Cat Dying incident.
getthepill.com - Morning After Pill (Emergency Contraception) It deserves a link. It deserves lots of links, especially if it’s legit, and I think it is.
TinyURL This thing keeps coming up in the chatroom, so I might as well link to it. It makes gigantic links into little ones.
WeatherUnderground A weather site. I know, boring, huh? I really like it. Might be because it’s all shiny and new to me, though.
digitalFAQ.com | Digital Media Guides & Services This seems like a good reference. I’ve used it in trying to figure out whether or not I should buy certain things.
OptOutPrescreen.com Consider this a public service or something. This site lets you opt out of all those annoying ‘prescreened’ credit offers — or, if you’re really crazy, to opt in. For out, you can either go 5 years, or permanent.
National Do Not Call Registry The do not call registry — national version. Keep the telemarketers from bothering you. Don’t forget to register your cellphone. And remember, you probably have to register at the state level, too.
Consumer Assistance This site offers another way of getting off telemarketer’s lists. It also offers a way to get off email lists — assuming the spammer uses their registry to clean theirs — mailing lists, and a way to get your dead relatives off them, too. As far as I k
Colorado Do Not Call Registration Website Some states don’t use the national registry, or something. Colorado is one of the states with a seperate registry. Luckily, registration is free.
Florida Do Not Call Registry Website Florida, while having a website, doesn’t seem to understand that they could have an online form. They seem to require you to download a form, fill it out, and mail it in with $10, plus $5 for each additional number to get on their list.
Indiana Do Not Call Website It looks like you can register with an online form, and I can’t find anything about a fee. The website urges Indiana residents to register, because their list provides more protection under state laws. Or something….
Kentucky Do Not Call Website Online registration, I assume, and the website says it’s free.
Louisiana Do Not Call Website Free online registration.
Massachusetts Do Not Call Website Online, and free.
Mississippi Do Not Call Website Free and online, but it says you may not register cellphones, which really sucks since it seems they can call you on those now….
Missouri No Call List Website Free and online.
Oklahoma Do Not Call Website Registration is online and free.
Pennsylvania Do Not Call Website Free and Online. With the PA site, you don’t have to register with the National list, because they do it for you.
Tennessee Do Not Call Website Free, but it doesn’t seem to be an online registration thing. Cellphones used for non-commercial purposes can be registered.
Texas Do Not Call Website Free registration online, fee-based registration by mail. And it only lasts for three years, either way.
Wisconsin Do Not Call Website Free, online, but only lasts for two years
Wyoming Do Not Call Website Kinda a pointless link, since they tell you that you have to go to the non-federal no call list and register there instead….
Demystifying Common-Law Marriage Since people don’t seem to understand the concept….

Free-Ed.net Free Education on the Internet.
Wikis:
-
wikiality.com Wikiality, the Truthiness Encyclopedia
Encyclopedia Dramatica “your one-stop shop for lulz.”
Companies that Suck:
-
Best Buy They suck. They really suck. Their service plans are a scam, and they’re selling cables for…hell, I don’t know, probably a good 100% profit. Shop somewhere else.
Circuit City Also sucks. My laptop is missing the tab key because of their service company. Avoid these guys, too — or, if you MUST shop there [if the prices are magically better, or something], do NOT get their service plan.
Code Junkies Worst. Customer. Service. Ever. They’ve got this form that goes nowhere — it just sends you an email to a support site that goes even more nowhere. Sometimes, you can get an email address that works, but it works about as well as their phone sup
Idis.com I don’t know if these guys are still around. Gremlin used to use them. They had this thing that promised a feature would be implemented by sometime before the year 2000…well into 2002. They’ve also got this utter scam referral thing that never paid o
Companies that Don't Suck:
-
NewEgg.com Computer stuff, and other stuff. They have wonderful customer service. Also, if you don’t mind paying a little more, your best bet is with the cheapest FedEX shipping, because UPS suck.
Welcome to Coca-Cola I got a bad case of coke once — just a little old, not actually ‘out of date’ — and they sent me some freebie coupons.
Lays.com Stupid little complaint, led to freebie coupons. That makes them just fine in my book. If only they’d, I don’t know, pick up Middleswarth for nationwide distribution, or something….
Altoids Mints One off-flavour mint in my Cinnamon ‘mints’, and they sent me two bucks. Please note, nothing I say about any of these good companies should be used to take advantage of them.
Stain Removal from Carbona One of their products got out a 7 year old blood stain; I told them about it, and in exchange for a release on the review, they sent me many free products, and many non-expiring coupons.
GiantMicrobes.com Plush microbes. It’s so wonderful…..

Trenchcoat.org HATE MAIL! It’s funny.
H2G2 Text Game The old Infocom text game of HitchHiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.
Dinosaurs Attack The only cards I collected as a child. My set disappeared back then; Gremlin found me a complete set on EBay and bought them, along with the first issue of a three part comic — the first issue was all that was ever made.
Superdickery Galleries This shit was in comicbooks?
Page By Page Books. Read Classic Books Online, Free. The site itself is a little ugly, but they really do have a bunch of books, and the format actually allows for bookmarking exactly where you are and recalling it later….
BK Halloween Masks …the eyes….
Instant Voodoo — InstantVoodoo.com I remembered this being in some sort of ad for…something or other. I guess it had to do with Progressive. It’s kinda neat.
SpookyLand- Roman Dirge This probably shouldn’t come as a surprise, but a good chunk of my thought process would read a lot like Lenore [with more than a dash of Gir], if I could ever DO anything. I’m convinced I can’t do anything because people are siphoning off my brain….

Squee on KittenWar Squee. Just…click.
Cute Overload! This site is an evil conspiracy of cuteness. If cuteness caused cavities, your teeth would rot out within thirty seconds of loading this page. I’m dying acute cute toxicity right now.

Ogrish.com Now something called ‘liveleak.com’….

U.S. Death Statistics Death Stats! Yay.
Weird contraception: Don’t try this at home Lly sent me this. It seemed good enough to make a link out of. When I first posted it, I called it ‘procrastination-justification’, but now I’m getting stuff done.

LEAP: Law Enforcement Against Prohibition - Homepage A site I found through an article about the whole Denver SAFER thing.
The Best Page In The Universe Mostly because of the orbitz article. I haven’t been a big fan of them since their “don’t think” campaign assaulted my sensibilities, and if they’re fucking people over, then a little bad word of mouth never hurt anyone…that didn’t deserve it.
The AOLer Translator This is bad. Really bad. It’ll hurt you if you use it.
Smartania Just in case someone out there thinks I’m the only one who does things like ‘the idiot archive’…or, well, actually just because it’s funny.
