The box isn't very interesting, except for the white thing. I was concerned for a minute, because I've had some bad luck with getting the wrong thing from various places. Then I figured that they probably just made the one box, to save on packaging costs.

All the expected stuff.

And a little case/sleeve thingie. That'll be nice for when I want to shove it into my backpack without damaging the outside.

Not that there's much to damage of the outsides. And the insides are protected. There's no latch, which isn't much of a change from my old laptop [the latch is broken on that thing -- thanks, Circuit City!].

That thing it's sitting on is the old laptop. I just figured I might as well show how small it is.

And, hey, how small it isn't. That's Gremlin's phone.

See, I got an Eee, and the keyboard? Redefines 'tiny'. I keep hitting the enter key when I want the apostrophe. This will take some getting used to.

I haven't decided if I want to keep the OS, or try something new. I guess it won't hurt me to try some stuff out, either way. Might give me some more room on the drive, or something. But, hell, I might as well give the current OS a chance....

I'm really only posting this to see how horrible the keyboard is, and how much I'm going to have to work to get used to it. I'm going for 'kinda horrible' and 'a bit'.

Maybe I'll have to install some sort of chat software on this, so I can give my fingers a better workout. Obviously, this isn't going to help me at all.
