I actually have a good reason for disliking myspace.

You see, it leaves the internet open to people as incoherent as this thing.

I'm not saying that there shouldn't be free websites that are easy enough for most people to post on...but something so easy that...well, that could happen? No. This is not good. People like that should be restricted to ranting at their mirrors. You see, it's for their own good. Otherwise, someone might catch them saying something insanely stupid about how they don't care about the internet, because they're only on more frequently than your average myspace-obsessed teenager. Or talking about how they have lives, except they've just finished a previous post saying they don't....

But, hey, at least you can set things to private, and only let your weird, incoherent revisionist histories be read by people you know will do nothing but kiss your ass....

This person is, in fact, the reason why I considered even making a list of people I would want to be friends with.

Roman Dirge has a MySpace. Also, a blog there. Or, well, I assume he does, and that it's not someone's fan-space. I've heard that people do that.

It's the sort of MySpace that I loathe, because it's rather unreadable, graphics-and-video-filled, and rather messy, but I can forgive that, what with all the Lenore-ness. And we all know how I feel about Lenore.

Dirge has probably made a whole dollar off me, what with all the buying-of-Lenore-stuff I do....

I've just decided to steal an idea from a chat with Zombie regarding the incredible mockability of MySpace people. I'm blending it with my wanting to make a list of people I'd be friends with if I were on myspace.

I haven't come up with a clever name for the category yet, so it's just 'myspace'.

I'll probably do it on Mondays, I haven't really settled on even that, yet. Also, I'm not very good at this whole keeping up with routines....

I guess if you've got one of these things, and think I might want to be friends with you, let me know. Or if you've got one that you think I could make fun of, let me know about that, too.

I might post about this again today, when I figure out what I want to do about this.
