\nLike today, when I have to walk to the game store to get controllers for my SNES. As it turns out, ‘not funni’ wasn’t meant to be a joke. It was a mistake, instead of a ‘ha ha, I have wrapped your controller to make you wait, for I am cruel and unusual mom!’<\/p>\n
None of that this year, though. Unless you count the waiting, which I’m okay with, or the good-natured teasing, which I’m ignoring the way all kids can ignore their parents.<\/p>\n
She probably doesn’t deserve the ignoring part, but I’ve got a good excuse. I’ve been shredding stuff with my new shredder [it crosscuts, and believe me, it’s not easy to put together something that comes out of the other side of this thing. I tried], and rearranging bits of the livingroom, which I have to get done before tomorrow, or else there won’t be any room to even open presents.<\/p>\n
Later, I might actually have enough space cleared that I can arrange the presents nicely somewhere. Maybe under a little whiteboard with a little dry-erase tree drawn on it for…I don’t know. For themeing, since at least one of the nametags I saw said ‘From Santa’….<\/p>\n
