Both my URLs are now pointing to my website. Unfortunately, since I’m at www.coffeechick.com, and they’re pointing to www.coffeechick.com, I’ve got to figure out a way to either get www.coffeechick.com and coffeechick.com to point somewhere useful, or I’ve got to create the standard overused splashpage.

Or something.

There are some dead links, still. I don’t really expect people to come here any more frequently than they saw the old one, so I’m not too worried about anyone hitting all these dead links.

I might as well mention other stuff….

I finally got my replacement phone charging cradle today. Several weeks ago, mine died for no apparent reason and I was left with a phone that wasted away to nothing because it didn’t have a charger anymore.

I called Verizon to find out what I could do about it — they told me ‘go to the store and they’ll give you a new one after they find out what’s wrong with the old one’.

I don’t know why I assumed that meant ‘you’ll get one for free’.

I emailed their customer service sometime after that and they informed me that there were ‘many ways I could purchase accessories for my phone, if only I would go to their website, or call their special accessories phone number.

Which, of course, led me to ‘fuck that, I’m not spending another thirty bucks on a goddamn charger.’

I didn’t. The damned things weren’t even $5. online. How weird is that….

So I ended up spending $14. on a new charging cradle and two new batteries, and somehow ended up with free two day FedEx. Not that it matters. Monday was a holiday.

I hate that. Not only does mail stop, but trash gets bumped a day. I didn’t know. So my trash was down at the end of the driveway two days in a row.

Oops.
