I spent some time today talking to someone I hadn’t talked to in…well, he mentioned something like ‘two years’, but I don’t really remember. It’s been a while — he asked if I was still living in Iowa.

Willingly and all. It’s like an attempt to create news, or something. I really don’t know.

Actually, it might be an attempt to create a hostile work environment, since I have absolutely no typing ability on this missing-it’s-godforsaken-tab-key beast, and trying to get anything done on it is a lot like trying to get anything done without it, only…worse. Like, nothing gets done, ever. Or something.

That made no sense for a reason. You see, Gremlin’s sitting a few feet from me playing this graphically challenged game of checkers from some Atari Anthology and distracting me a lot. And the screen keeps flashing, and it’s really, really painful.

Atari kinda makes me wanna kill.

I’ve been distracted, mostly by the New Super Mario DS game that came from GameFly. The actual game itself is pretty…Mario-ish. Classic Mario. Like, um, remember the NES? That Mario. But it’s fun, and it looks great.

I’ve been hooked on one of the MiniGames, though.

…and that’s pretty much it.
