Two Years

As of…yesterdayish, we’ve been with our current host for two years, which is probably the longest stretch since Ondo’s server.

It’s been pretty good here. They have some nice benefits — and I’m not talking about the stupid ‘green hosting’ thing. I especially like how they conceal my whois information. It lets me laugh at the people who think they’re terribly clever when they announce that they’re going to ‘find me’ by running a whois on my website.

Unless something goes horribly wrong, we’re going to be here for at least another five years.

Yay.

The test-poster just showed up — the one that I made from one of my blizzard photos upscaled a whole bunch.

I was worried, because I wasn’t able to make the picture as large as their templates say it needs to be [apparently, even though they want things to be 7000×4600 pixels at 200dpi, they don’t allow anything bigger than 4000 pixels — or so their stupid error says]. It looks okay, though, which means that I can start adding more photos as ‘large posters’ and not just framed prints.

Another store update.

I was going to try and get some stuff from the gallery up tonight, but it turns out that there were problems with that idea. Strange, fucked up error problems that didn’t make any sense whatsoever.

“Images cannot be larger than 4000px” errors, which is really funny, because a whole bunch of my images are.
