There goes my budget….

We went out last night, and discovered that the new game store, Gamexplosion, was finally open.

They have Atari games. It’s amazing.

I took some pictures of the store, but I won’t be able to get them online until Friday because my card reader isn’t plugged in. I don’t want to stress this backup power supply any more than I have to while I’m waiting for the new one.

Computer withdrawal.

It’s a real thing. See, a couple of hours ago, my tower suddenly stopped being a computer and started being a big fancy paperweight, and I was instantly all shaky and cold and sick. Not because there was no more chat, but because there was no more computer, period.

The good news? It was the power supply, and I have a spare that I can use until the new, better one gets here.

I’m not going to be very happy until it gets here, though. I’m down to one harddrive and craptastically little RAM. Also, no card reader, just to be safe. Hopefully, nothing else went with the power supply. Everything seems to work, so far. It’s just a matter of waiting for UPS.

…oh, god. I’m going to die, aren’t I?

Nobody’s safe, because I’ve been infected, too.

A couple of days ago, we made an emergency store run [walk, actually, and if you ever get the urge to rush off to the store while you’re on crutches? Don’t. I’m still hurting.] for catfood, and we were over in the prepackaged meats/bacon/hotdog area when I noticed something that was absolutely amazing to me.

A bag of mixed nuts.
