I kinda took the weekend off. See, my TV broke, and I was suddenly consumed — rather selfishly, I know — with a deep and horrible depression. It caused me to start reading Lord of the Rings again, after I scoured the house for a TV-like substitute.

I finally figured something out on Gallery — I found the feature I wanted in a theme I could stand, which means that I’m exactly half a step closer to replacing Coppermine. Maybe. Because that’s going to be a very big job when I finally get around to it.

But it’s supposed to integrate better, and it’s got the little popular free hosted online gallery thing micro-thumbnail navigation. And with the integration, there might be better sizing and placement options in posts, which means I might actually…well, I don’t know what.

But I finally figured out that one thing. Now, on to the next thing. Which might be a bit of theme tweaking. And then, figuring out whether or not I just want to shut everything down and replace the gallery outright, or pick a new name for the gallery folder.

Important decisions. Oh yeah.

Not counting all the times I fell asleep unexpectedly, it took maybe 48 hours to read the entire available Harry Potter series. And now, I get to wait until July 21st with the rest of the fans, when I should be getting my copy of whatever the last one’s called in the mail.
