We saw the new Indy movie last night. Gremlin’s review sums it up better than I can.

The Golden Compass
I was almost willing to overlook the slightly clumsy performances and the equally clumsy dialogue, right up until the ending that didn’t happen.
Seriously, where’s the ending? That’s not how the book ended. What’d you do with my fucking ending?
